有时，我们需要用英文表示“最近几年”的概念，可能是分析最近3年的数据，介绍最近5年的变化，或是最近10年的发展。那么这种“最近某几年”，英文里可以怎么表达呢？
有两种常见方法。（1）in the last 3/5/10 years。这里的last，可以表示（时间上）最近的。（2）你还可以说：in the most recent three years（在最近3年里），in the most recent five years（在最近5年里），in the most recent 10 years（最近10年内）。这里的most recent，意思就是：最近的。除了使用介词in，有时你也可以根据上下文考虑使用over（在某段时间内），或from（来自）。
当然，我们也可以这么表达：in the past 3/5/10 years，表示：在过去的3/5/10年里。它其实也就是指在最近的3/5/10年。不过要严格说的话，last，以及most recent要更贴近“最近”的字面意思。
